Aged to perfection in specially selected casks and peated to 45ppm, The English - Smokey creates a lovely waft of smoke on the palate. An ideal alternative for the Islay fan.
A gentle aroma with hints of vanilla, aniseed and ginger, a creamy palate and a little peat initially, then the smoke bomb! Its finish is long, spicy and smokey.
The English Distillery is England’s oldest registered whisky distillery, situated in the beautiful country of Norfolk. Founded by the Nelstrop family in 2006, the distillery is still independent and creates multi award-winning whisky from honest, local ingredients.
