Naming the brand was inspired by Patsy's maiden name P. Hayes, when said together sounds like Phase.
The Eight to the brand is the building number of the first shop that opened in Wandsworth, London on Bellevue Road. Bringing the two together making Phase Eight.
Since 2015 Phase Eight has been owned by South African retailer The Foschini Group (TFG) that also owns Hobbs* and Whistles which is also available to buy online and instore at Jarrold. *Hobbs coming soon to Jarrold.co.uk
