Athena and Dexter Fox are happy. They love each other. They are friends.

Helen Garner writes novels, stories, screenplays and works of non-fiction. She has worked as a teacher and a freelance journalist, and has won numerous literary awards. In 2019 she was honoured with the Australia Council Award for Lifetime Achievement in Literature.
