We have a rare and exciting opportunity to recruit a full-time Administration Assistant into our buying team. The successful candidate will gain a valuable insight into buying with an emphasis on fashion. This role will report in to the Ladieswear and Accessories Buyer.

This position is fast paced and requires someone who can work with efficiency and attention to detail whilst demonstrating a calm working style. Liaisons with buyers, senior management, the marketing team, colleagues and suppliers will be a key part of this role and therefore will demand a confident communicator who can deliver information clearly and precisely.

Outstanding administration skills and experience in organising and prioritising numerous tasks simultaneously is essential.

Key tasks will include:

  • Preparation and analysis of sales reports
  • Managing and maintaining accurate tracking spreadsheets
  • Organising mark downs, promotions and sale activity
  • Pulling together monthly statistics, analyse key trends and support with compiling the monthly trading report
  • Replenishment orders, seasonal and core
  • Chase deliveries/negotiate with suppliers as agreed with the Buyer
  • Filing, post, general admin and office keeping
    Providing the support for all buying administration tasks
  • Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential, however the successful candidate must have a keen interest in fashion and ideally hold a fashion-based qualification or have proven experience in the industry.
