We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurants Manager, with a genuine passion for hospitality to join our leadership team. Reporting to our Commercial Director and working alongside our Restaurant Supervisors you will play a crucial role in the execution of the Food & Beverage Strategy for our outstanding restaurants, always ensuring the delivery of a truly exceptional customer experience.

With five restaurants and the development of our Lower Ground Food Hall, we mean business when it comes to eating out! And with opportunities to learn and develop across different restaurants and service styles, this really is an exciting time to be part of Jarrolds Hospitality.

Role responsibility:

  • Seek out opportunities & trends to increase restaurants performance & drive financial results.
  • To inspire and develop growth and autonomy with the supervisors and their teams.
  • Manage the payroll budget through flexible workforce planning, to maximise profit.
  • Improve operational performance standards of each restaurant.
  • Ensure that all restaurants adhere to legislative requirements such as Licensing, Food Safety and Health & Safety
  • Promote and develop a collaborative working relationship within the food & beverage teams and the Jarrolds wider team.
  • Ensure the Jarrold brand values and standards are delivered

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven restaurant management experience that can be demonstrated at interview.
  • A “People First” approach with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams.
  • Highly driven and commercially minded.
  • An enthusiasm for identifying the developmental needs of their team, using a coaching approach to help others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • A “hands on” mentality and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with high levels of autonomy and ownership.
  • Problem solving skills and be able to react 'in the moment' during busy services.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for wine and food.
  • Able to collaborate will all areas of the business, taking part in cross store meetings, activities and projects as appropriate.

This role offers a competitive salary, with a great working environment and hours that reflect our daytime store opening hours. Therefore, there will be no split shifts, but there will be an occasional evening mainly for events.
