About Suzanne
Suzanne creates functional and haptic forms which are well balanced and have strong clean lines. These are often in sets which playfully interact with each other, while each piece has its own unique character.
Suzanne’s work is influenced by Brutalist architecture and underpinned by the modernist theory of pared-back bold lines on clean, practical forms. Contrast also features heavily throughout her work; with parity of form and function, Suzanne’s designs are equally as enjoyable to look at as they are to use, touch and hold.
With a BA Hons in Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery (UCA) and an MA in Creative Entrepreneurship with distinction (UEA), award-winning Suzanne is continuously striving to develop her skills and designs, while progressing her practice with regular training under master silversmiths. Suzanne splits her time between working on her own designs in her workshop, and teaching.
