Icebreaker Clothing 

Icebreaker in 1994 created the first merino layering system for outdoor clothing. Originating from New Zealand, Icebreaker uses the wild landscape of that country as a source of inspiration in its clothing designs. At the core of all designs of Icebreaker clothing is functionality. Icebreaker aims to provide better temperature regulation, mobility and fit in its clothing than its competitors. Icebreaker clothing is always under-stated, elegant and always maintains an element of surprise. The qualities that the merino breed of sheep bring to Icebreaker’s clothing is that their wool is warm when it is cold and cool when it is hot which helps to prevent clamminess. Perhaps even more importantly, merino stays softer and more durable for longer than some other wools as well as being non-itch and easy to care for.
