Made from sumptuous high-grade velour felt, this hat is all about quiet luxury and is an investment piece that will deliver season upon season. This hat is shaped and stitched the traditional way, entirely by hand, at the Goodrum & Merryweather millinery studio in the heart of Norwich. The fluid, curving, form flatters and frames the face and supplies a pleasingly dramatic shape and silhouette. Three hand-twisted millinery cockades sit to the right of the wearers head and give a distinctive flourish. Fashioned from vintage ribbon salvaged from a redundant atelier in France, these decorative trims are one of a kind and harbour a unique textile history, which cannot be replicated.
With a fuller style of brim, the Sweeping Statement possesses character and presence and measures 16 inches from edge to edge. Why not play around with tilting it at a variety of angles for a different effect each time?
The circumference of the crown is made to fit an average-sized head of approximately 22 inches, with some allowance. Unlined.
