Balblair Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12-year-old 700ml
Balblair is what you imagine a distillery should be. Their home sits on an ancient Pictish gathering place, tucked away near the banks of the Dornoch Firth.
Their time-intensive methods make for more flavour-intensive malts. In the words of the Distillery Manager, John MacDonald, “making whisky should be a craft, not a process.” And he ensures this runs through every aspect of what they do, right down to how they label our casks. Ours are hand-stencilled and dated by the men who filled them, affording the whisky the respect it deserves.
In the fine balance of fruit, spice and sweetness, Balblair 12 Year Old encapsulates the gentle charisma of the Highlands. Elegant and approachable, this is the defining expression of Balblair Distillery, one to which all others refer.
