As a sales assistant you are the first point of contact with our customers and therefore an ambassador for the Jarrolds brand. Therefore when you work in our stores you won’t just become an expert at selling products, you’ll also be a brilliant host, welcoming our guests and helping them find whatever they need.

With 5 floors of carefully selected merchandise from fashion to food, books to beauty and home, our sales teams work flexibly across departments whilst retaining expert knowledge in their specialist areas.

With 4 Restaurants, a Coffee Shop and 2 Wine Bars, we offer a unique dining experience, where customers can find everything from our famous Jarrolds scones to Beluga caviar (and everything in between).

eCommerce Roles

Our website team are based in Exchange Street in Norwich. Our online business is growing, making this a busy dynamic department where our colleagues work hard every day to bring the Jarrolds magic to customers online experience.

There are a variety of roles within e-commerce, from web content assistants, to pickers and customer service assistants. Working in E-commerce at Jarrold you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of digital skills whilst ensuring the highest levels of user experience.

Leadership Roles

We have a people-first approach to management and our leadership team are committed to motivating and supporting our colleagues in delivering the best possible experience to our customers.

Being independent means that we are quite unique in the way we do things and there is flexibility in our job roles. Many of our managers oversee several departments and regularly get involved in new projects where they can utilise their particular skillset.

Even if it means moving between different functions in the business, we aim to provide development support and opportunities for aspiring leaders. We are proud that so many of our management team, now and in the past, are the evidence that we develop and promote talent from within our ranks.

Buying Roles

Based at our London Street store the buying team at Jarrolds are responsible for sourcing and curating exciting ranges of products that will tempt and delight our customers.

They bring creative flair balanced with sound business sense, keeping in touch with upcoming trends and developing an in depth knowledge of our customers, whilst ensuring our products are commercially viable.

All our buyers work closely with the department managers to translate their vision to the shop floor, creating inspiring visual merchandising across the store.
