Say hello to the new Section Specialists at Jarrold Intersport, Bronwyn, Liam and Hannah. Each specialist is dedicated to sharing their expert sporting knowledge, offering handy tips and product advice to help find the perfect kit for you and your sport.

Bronwyn- Ladies Fitness & Training Specialist:

I am the section specialist for women’s fitness and training, with my knowledge covering clothing, shoes, equipment and training advice. My fitness knowledge has been developed through a degree in Sports Science combined with over 6 years’ experience in sports retail. 

This knowledge is supported by my own sporting passion of running; I lead the Jarrold Intersport run club, taking guided runs around the city, as well as running between 5km and 10km three times per week myself. My other main interest is strength training, which helps me to keep myself strong, lean and healthy.

What motivates you to keep active?

I’m motivated by my desire to stay physically healthy and strong, but also staying active is important for my mental health. I do not find motivating myself difficult because I love exercising and playing sport…it's my passion and I miss it when I’m inactive!

Bronwyn’s Top Fitness Tip:

Understand the importance of recovery to see progression in training and performance. We are all different, and it is important to learn when your body needs a rest!

Liam- Men’s Fitness & Training Specialist:

I am the specialist for men’s fitness and training at Jarrold Intersport. Having been around sports all my life, I am encouraged to stay active by my friends and family, and my motivation to achieve the best in my chosen sports of

Football, Tennis, Badminton and Running. I have a passion for all things sport, with a BSC Degree in Sport, Exercise & Health, combined with over 5 years working in Sports retail.

Who inspires you in the sporting world?

Roger Federer…He is a true professional and a gentleman, always presentable, whilst excelling in his sport.

Liam’s Top Fitness Tip…

Make sure you have the correct footwear for your sport, and most importantly for you…Never skimp if it is the most comfortable option!

Hannah- Team Sports Specialist

My specialist area instore is team sports, a professional interest that has developed from my own personal sporting passion of hockey, having played since I was about 15 years old around Norfolk.

Within team sports I cover all the specialist sports equipment you would not be able to find elsewhere in Norwich, including cricket, tennis, rugby, hockey, badminton and squash, from some of the best sports brands around.

What motivates you to keep active?

The joy of being involved in a team sport, being able to have a laugh with team mates makes you want to turn up for training as well as playing matches.

Who inspires you in the sporting world?

As I have an involvement in Athletics it would have to be two of the Super Saturday Gold Medallists from London 2012, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis-Hill. They are just unbelievable within their sport and great ambassadors for British Sport!
