Christmas Jumper Day comes but once a year, so this year all our colleagues were invited to dress up in their festive jumpers, T.shirts, ties and even socks to raise money for the EACH Nook Appeal.
The day was so festive that it even snowed (thanks to facilities manager Chris Sandell and his team) and colleagues impressed with an array of Christmas attire that brought colour and sparkle to Jarrold.
Customers were also invited to join in the fun with charity collection tins around the store. The money raised will help raise funds for a new children’s hospice which is currently being built.
Jarrold marketing manager Carole Slaughter said: “Thanks to all of you who took part in Christmas Jumper Day and to our customers who have supported us too. The money raised will be significant to the EACH Nook Appeal as they strive to reach the target of £10m needed to complete the build of the new children’s hospice, which will be important to the families that EACH help and support each year.”
The EACH Nook Appeal is one of the three main charities Jarrold is raising money for throughout the year up until 2020.
