After a quick introduction, Nick began his cooking demonstration of what was soon to be our main meal for the evening; Sea bass on a bed of Norfolk grown artichokes, samphire, salsa verde and roasted baby tomatoes.
After the demonstration was over we led our bloggers down to the housewares department where they had a chance to explore the department before Jennifer Read and Sarah Pheysey our housewares buyer and manager talked through Emma Bridgewater’s collections and the inspiration behind their stunning designs.
The tour came to an end with a demonstration of Sage by Heston Blumenthal juicer. This easy to use kitchen appliance is a must-have in any kitchen! Sarah created a perfect palate cleanser of apple, carrot and ginger juice before we headed back upstairs to Benji’s for dinner.
