Jarrold loves...The Exchange

Welcome to The Exchange. The newest addition to the food experience at Jarrold opens its doors.

Following on from the success of the new Jarrold Deli and Wine Bar, phase two of the development of the lower ground floor at independent department store Jarrold is complete with the opening of The Exchange.

Offering an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, along with a drinks menu that includes wines carefully selected by Jarrold wine expert and Master of Wine Nick Adams, which are also available from the Deli wine shop, The Exchange aims to offer something different to the food offering that already exists at Jarrold.

On the menu is a selection of wood-fired pizzas. Choose from a handmade sourdough, Neapolitan or gluten free base, and select a gourmet topping. Pizza toppings range from a simple fresh tomato and basil to the mouth-watering maple pulled pork.  Pasta is also on the menu, with fresh pasta options such as tagliatelle or pappardelle served with your choice of sauce, along with stone baked breads, open and artisan sandwiches, seasonal soups and plates such as quarter roast chicken marinated in Bourbon whiskey or salmon grilled over lava rocks served with a choice of two salads. Then for pudding how about a retro banana spilt, or warm lemon curd doughnut with vanilla bean ice cream?

Jarrold trading director John Adams said: “At Jarrold it is all about giving our customers an exciting experience alongside our traditional retail offering. With the opening of The Exchange we can now offer five places to eat and drink in the store, each offering something different – from elegant two course lunches and afternoon teas at Benji’s, to traditional family carveries at The Pantry. The Exchange complements this mix with a stylish pizza restaurant that follows our values of offering something for everyone.”

The Exchange is open now on the lower ground floor at Jarrold and it's definitely one of the best places to be.

But don't just take our word for it. Here's what some Instagram influencers and bloggers think:
