It’s time for that annual spring clean. While many of us will be heading to DIY stores to buy paint, wallpaper and tools to carry out work in the house and garden, it’s also traditional for many to put their winter clothes in storage and bring out the summer style.
And just as with DIY projects, where thought and planning is key, so too should you prep your new season wardrobe.
First – fill any gaps in your summer repertoire. Lacking in tops? Esprit has a plethora of styles in its new collection from classic polo shirts to spring and summer’s trend for slogan and palm tree prints.
Need some new shorts? The belted cargo shorts from Gant offer a timeless style that will see you through many summers to come.
Want to invest in a lightweight jacket? It’s a season must-have so there are plenty of styles and colours to choose from. Calvin Klein has a great bomber jacket in its collection, or for a more traditional look why not go for a Harrington jacket from Barbour?
If you are unsure, seek advice from a style advisor like me. Put it this way, I wouldn’t dream of plastering walls with budget material, nor would I dream of fitting a new kitchen myself, so if you are unsure about what styles suit you, come and get my honest opinion first before you make that investment.
