Ask the personal stylists…about how you can create your holiday style in a suitcase
From sunny weekend getaways to the big summer holiday, here’s your guide to packing light by creating your own holiday capsule wardrobe, says Jarrold personal stylists Florrie Dunn and Tim Benns.
How many times have you packed to go on holiday, only to bring back most items unworn? We have, which is why we have created this guide on how to take only the items you need. The key is to create a capsule wardrobe of essential items that can be worn with each other in different ways to create many outfits out of a few hero items. You should then be able to take hand luggage only, saving on baggage handling fees, and you will still look stylish from beach to bar.
The holiday capsule wardrobe fashion rule: Choose three colours that complement each other.
We have chosen red, white and blue, as these are some of the hottest colours for Summer 2018, but you can choose your favourites. By sticking to a maximum of two colours for your holiday capsule wardrobe will help you style different items together to create outfits for any holiday occasion.
