Behind the scenes: The Jarrold AW18 campaign shoot

The Jarrold fashion and beauty campaign is all about those investment and signature pieces that you buy now and love forever, so what better location to shoot this than in the Marble Hall at Holkham Hall. We take a look behind the scenes on the shoot.

Autumn 2018 is all about Timeless Style – those stylish staples you have in your wardrobe that will go with anything, for any occasion and will take you from season to season. It’s not about throw-away fashion, it’s about investment pieces. It’s about looking stylish while doing your bit for sustainability by buying well and wearing more.

Our AW18 shoot was shot against the elegant backdrop of the Marble Hall at the grand 18th century masterpiece that is Holkham Hall. The Marble Hall is actually constructed of Staffordshire alabaster, which is softer and more translucent than marble. The splendid colonnade was copied from that of the Temple of Fortuna Virlis in Rome, while the ceiling was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome.

Holkham Hall was the location of the Jarrold AW18 campaign shoot, which was mainly shot in The Marble Hall. Photography: Simon Buck.

The marble effect provides a direct link between classic and contemporary style, in much the same way as out carefully curated autumn fashion items offer a look that is so now, but will last forever...
