Four things you didn't know about Elly Griffiths

A fantastic Author who has captured our hearts with her thrilling and captivating stories, Elly Griffiths has become one of our favourite writers who's popularity is still on the rise. Our Book Buyer Chris Rushby shares four interesting facts that you might not have known about Elly.

  Our fabulous facts:

  1. Elly's real name is Domenica de Rosa and she's written books under that name. When her first crime novel came along her agent told her she needed a crime novelist's name - and so Elly Griffiths was born  

  2. Elly's heroine, Ruth Galloway, lives on the north Norfolk coast in a fictitious village somewhere near Titchwell, in an isolated cottage looking out over the salt-marshes

  3. All of Elly's books feature Norfolk settings, many of them real places. Jarrolds held a brilliant launch event with her a couple of years ago, in the keep of Norwich Castle, forThe Outcast Dead, which is set in and around the castle

  4. Her new bookThe Woman In Blue, is set in and around Walsingham and the shrine there
