Jarrold loves...Mr Harebean

Dress different and come on down to the book department to discover the newest character in children's fiction - Mr Harebean, as new book Mr Harebean And His Suit, by local author Sally Adams helps support GoGoHares and Break.

Get ready to welcome the newest character in children's fiction - Mr Harebean! The book Mr Harebean and his suit, by local author and illustrator Sally Adams launches in the Jarrold book department on Saturday 28 October, with a book reading  and a lot of Hare Brained fun.

Sally Adams, a previous Gorilla and Dragon artist, came up with the idea for the book earlier in the year and after some development it has been commissioned by Norfolk children’s charity Break to support their GoGoHares trail in 2018.

Mr Harebean is a character that has been created by Sally and the story started one day when an invitation dropped on his doormat for a party.  ‘Do Dress Different’ it said… and from that moment Mr Harebean’s adventure started.

Carole Slaughter, Jarrold marketing manager says:  "Jarrolds is delighted to be introducing Mr Harebean and his fascinating story. It is a fabulous way to be able to support Go Go Hares 2018 and we hope that many people will buy and enjoy the book."

The GoGoHares trail brought to you by Break and Wild in Art, will go live on 24t June 2018 until 8 September 2018, with a parade of all the hares on 7 – 10 October and the auction on 11 October 2018.
