My English Summer, Pretty Little Things
This is a super gift range that I found at a recent trade show in London. It’s new to market and made in England – in Yorkshire to be precise - and produced in a converted mill set in beautiful surroundings.
The brand comes from very humble beginnings, starting life in early 2011 in a simple kitchen. Initially it was a hobby but has since blossomed into a successful business and still with the aim of producing fabulous bath and body treats using simple and natural ingredients.
I love the pretty packaging in a vintage style and having tried the products, I can promise they are delicious. The products are so affordable too with the little Soap Fancies at £3.50, Shea Butter Balms £4.50, Solid Perfumes £5 and a gift box of four Bath Bombs £10.
In store, we can always make up a bespoke gift basket of several items too.
Aveda, Stress-Fix Body Crème
Aveda is a brand that is devoted to the art and science of pure flower and plant essences. Their mission is to care for the world we live in, from the products they make to the ways in which they give back to society. They source natural ingredients from around the globe that supports sustainability and social and economic empowerment, and have donated millions of pounds to charities like WaterAid during their fundraising Earth month in April.
I love their products and especially their Stress-Fix range – perfect for my busy life! I’m really looking forward to the new addition to this collection – the Body Crème – a sumptuous all-over moisturiser containing a proven stress relieving aroma and hydrators that will help protect even the most dehydrated skin for a full 24 hours.
Follow this simple Body Crème Ritual: after bathing, massage the Crème into the hands and hold them under your nose while taking a deep breath. Massage tense areas like neck and shoulders using circular motions (or better still, get someone else to do it) and smooth onto arms and legs applying gentle pressure – then relax.
