Award-winning, bestselling author, journalist and broadcaster Elizabeth Day will join us to celebrate her new novel Magpie: described by Lisa Taddeo as ‘…that rare book I always go hunting for, something that will keep me breathless with suspense but also buoyant with good energy.’ The much-loved author and How To Fail podcast host, will explore the themes of her work with author and UEA Professor of Medical and Health Humanities, Christie Watson.


Elizabeth Day

Elizabeth Day is the author of four novels and Sunday Times bestselling memoir, How to Fail. She is an award-winning journalist and has written extensively for The Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian, the Observer, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. She is currently a columnist for the Mail on Sunday‘s You magazine, presenter on BBC Radio 4 Open Book and host of the chart-topping podcast, How To Fail With Elizabeth Day. Her new novel, Magpie, is a thrilling, stylish and psychologically astute story of jealousy, motherhood and power.
