If she summed up the Jarrold jams in three words Janet Peachey would say – Premium. Wholesome. Tasty. From starting her jam making business in 2004 by making jams and chutneys and selling them at farmers markets at weekends, Janet’s business grew from there, and it was in January 2009 that Jarrold Deli Buyer Judith discovered Peachey’s at a market and Janets products and Peachey’s arrived at Jarrold.

Now Janet makes the Jarrold Strawberry Jam, Jarrold Raspberry Jam and Whiskey Marmalade, all are made using local ingredients where possible, with the strawberries coming from Rollesby and the Whiskey Marmalade is made with Smokey Whiskey from the English Whiskey Company at East Harling.  All are made in small batches using a traditional open pan method at her workshop in Alburgh near Harleston in South Norfolk
