San Marzano – ‘Il Pumo’ Primitivo
Red Wine From Puglia - Italy
A spicy, unoaked wine, from Puglia’s signature red grape. The Primitivo grape is in fact identical to California’s spicy Zinfandel, but in its native land of Puglia, it makes intense red wines, full of plum, prune and fresh herb aromas, with a ripe, velvety mouth-feel.
Food matches: Serve alongside a fresh pizza or spicy tomato pasta.
