JESSICA-JANE APPLEGATE MBE

''Competing at a home games has to be a once in a lifetime experience, so qualifying for the London 2012 Paralympic Games at 15 years old was just incredible, but winning Gold in front of a 17,500 home crowd is something that I will never forget, it was just amazing! Being honoured with an MBE at 16 years old was pretty awesome too!

I believe I can and will do better, so I have set new tougher goals for the Paralympics in Tokyo 2020, and I am working really hard to achieve these. This year I am hoping to qualify for the European Championships being held in Dublin."
