What do you love about running?
For me running is very cathartic, it is my way of releasing stress with the added bonus of being great for improving cardiovascular fitness.
Where do you like to run?
As I grew up in the countryside I enjoy scenic routes and trail running, however, since living in the city I have found some good routes near the river.
What’s your favourite distance?
My favourite distance is definitely 5km, I like challenging myself and trying to improve my PBs and because it is a relatively short distance it's easy to fit in runs before or after work.
What are you training for?
Currently I am training to increase my fitness and get back to my best running time rather than a particular race.
What race would you love to enter?
I would love to enter the Inca Trail marathon in Peru, although it's a longer distance than I would normally run the views would be amazing and it would be an unforgettable experience!
What’s your favourite running shoe?
Currently I run in Nike Lunarglides which I am getting on with really well, they're lightweight yet cushioned and ideal for the distances I like to run.
What running item, other than trainers, could you not live without?
I think the beauty of running is that you can do it with minimal equipment, however, I could not run without my Odlo high support sports bra. It's padded so really comfortable but still offers the high support you need when running, and mesh inserts mean it has good ventilation, keeping me dry and comfortable as I'm running.
