Serena Grace

With aspirations to one day join Team GB, as a young athlete Serena Grace has already achieved great things in her chosen field of sprinting. Norfolk County Champion 2015-2019 in 60m, 100m, & 200m sprint and  2017-2019 in the 300m, Serena has proved a real talent on the athletic track. Serena now hopes to become more mentally and physically equipped through various training programmes, which will enable her to push further in her sprinting, compete at a higher standard and hopefully one day achieve her goal of representing her country in the Olympics.

In 2017 Serena was also the winner of the EDP's Norfolk and Waveney Outstanding Sporting Achievement of the year. And in January this year after being nominated by her school, Serena was selected (out of 13 in the UK) to represent team GB at the International Federation for Catholic Schools (FISEC) Games in Bucharest in July 2019.

Gemma Vickery

Gemma has been throwing hammer competitively for 10 years, and has competed in National competitions from Under 15. Gemma went on to have the honour of being selected to represent England in the 2012 UK Schools Games, which were held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium - one of her most memorable competitions to date.

In 2016 Gemma returned to the sport after taking a year out to focus on her studies at University. Since returning to the sport, she has broken multiple Norfolk County and Championship Records, become County and East of England Champion and increased her distance by over 7 meters. With growing support and confidence, Gemma aims to represent England once again.

Emily Hicks

Emily, has proven to be a tenacious hockey player. She has gone from a squad player to a starting player. She does not care if her opponent is bigger, stronger, or faster, she does her job, and does it frighteningly well.

Emily, has been at Langley Prep at Taverham Hall since September 2015, and has excelled in all sporting spheres that the school offers. She is particularly strong in hockey and athletics, where she has represented School and Club at regional and national competitions, often above her age level.

Emily received Hockey Player of the season (now four years in a row) for the U13 team, which she captained at the ISA finals held at Lee Valley Olympic stadium. She has also received her Senior school hockey colours.

At club level she is Captain of the U12 team at tournaments (where they have won 1 and come 2nd in 2), plays for the Ladies Development team, and is sub for the U14 team.
