Pumice StoneCollected from mountain summits in Lebanon, these natural pumice stones were ejected as foamy lather from a now extinct volcano. These Lebanese pumice will add an air of elegance to any bath suite. Our stones have large pores giving them a very effective exfoliating action. Look after your pumice stone, and it will outlast you! The stones are generally black but due to the natural variation, a few are dark grey, and some reddish or greyish black. There is no better way to remove hard skin from the heels and feet. What is a pumice stone for?To exfoliate areas of hard skin, to stimulate circulation and to make the skin feel more comfortable.CompositionPumice, chiefly composed of silicon is technically a form of natural glass. How do you use a pumice stone?Rub gently onto area of thick skin such on the feet and toes, elbows and knees. It is ideal if these areas have been soaked in water and soap first. If you have not used a pumice stone for some time, do not try to remove all the hard skin in one go, instead just try to introduce this kind of exfoliation on a regular basis. How to care for your pumice stoneTake care not to drop this stone to avoid damaging bathroom fixtures or damaging the stone. After use scrub the pumice stone with a stiff bristle brush, then allow to dry after use.TipIt is much easier to remove areas of thick skin with a pumice if Hemp Oil Wash / Exfoliating soap is applied to the area first. The soap separates the dead skin away from the living skin, making pumicing more effective, less ticklish and giving the smoothest, most professional finish.
