A wooden and boar bristle tooth brushGreen clay powder which has been air-filtered (ultra-ventilated) to produce the finest and purest clay particles most suited for tooth brushing.Walnut bark powder - a natural tooth whitener and gum tightenerA tree root toothbrush stick/s (Salvadora persica). Not only does this stick clean and remineralize your teeth, it kills bacteria in the gum line too. In addition you can use the stick to create a mouth wash.A Olive Stick toothbrush (similar to above but milder in taste)Hand spun silk floss/es, coated in candililla tree leaf wax.

Not only do the teeth look and feel great when they are clean, having a clean gum line is essential to good health, but it can be difficult to achieve with commercial products, some of which are extremely toxic for the gums, body and environment. The health and cleanliness of the whole of the oral cavity can be optimized using totally natural products. The Benefits of Using a Natural Bristle ToothbrushThe traditional toothbrush has a far superior cleaning action to normal nylon bristles. The bristles exert more friction than nylon bristles and the natural boar bristles seem to 'push, pull and sweep' as you use them. The bristles on the brush are gentle on the enamel and soft enough to clean the gums, tongue and mouth tissue. The brush works very well with the green clay toothpaste. At the end of its use life the brush and bristles will biodegrade unlike plastic toothbrushes which are of composite materials. The Benefits of Using Green ClayNot only does the green clay make a great tooth paste and leave the teeth feeling smooth and clean, but due to the low abrasivity index, the green clay toothpaste is gentle on the enamel. Clays are famous for absorbing heavy metals, so they are ideal if you have or have had mercury fillings to reduce levels of contamination in the gums, oral tissue and breath. Green clay is anti-microbial, it absorbs microbes and the toxins produced by microbes. Green clay, with a pH 0f 7,  neutralizes the acids in the mouth, protecting the enamel from acid erosion. Green clay has virtually no taste, so you can brush your teeth before breakfast and still enjoy your food. Children often prefer a very mild tasting toothpaste. Normal toothpastes are so toxic that they all contain a warning label -  'If more than is normally used amount (with a child, a pea sized amount) is swallowed call the Poison Control Centre immediately!' The chemicals are bad for the environment too and the thick plastic packaging is all too common. By making your own toothpaste from the green clay powder you can avoid all of these issues. The Benefits of Using Tree Root ToothbrushesThese tree roots (Salvadora persica), also know as miswak, siwak, peelu, and arak  are virtually a tooth care kit within a kit as the stick transforms into a toothbrush and gum line cleaner while the sap in the stick becomes enamel strengthening toothpaste and mouthwash. We have also added our popular Olive Tree Sticks to our oral hygiene kits, as we'd like you to try these too. The sap of these sticks is proven to kill damaging bacteria in the gum line and these sticks have been used safely for thousands of years. As an alternative to conventional toothpaste, the tree root toothbrush sticks can replace toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouth wash. These sticks are ideal to use when you are on the move through the day, or when you are relaxing during the day or evening. The Benefits of Silk FlossMade just from hand spun silk and coated with plant wax from the candelilla tree leaves, this floss is strong and easy to hold. It really seems to 'grab' the debris and biofilm between the teeth. It is amazing to find a floss which is toxin free and which will biodegrade in 2-3 months after use. Normal floss is coated with very toxic chemicals which cause harm to the health and the environment. Floss in the normal way.The Benefits of Using Walnut Bark PowderWalnut bark powder is a traditional toothpaste which improves the quality of dental enamel making the teeth appear whiter. The powder also tightens the gums improving gum health. The powder can be used as dry toothpaste, made into a wet toothpaste or used as a mouth wash. How to Use Dental FlossWrap the floss around the forefingers. Introduce the floss into the interspace between two teeth. Keeping the floss taught, gently slide the floss up and down until it feels and sounds clean. Keeping the floss taught, slightly bend it around each tooth, moving the floss to and fro. Move on to the next interspace. Don't forget to get right behind the back molars. If possible compost the used floss. Please don't flush floss down the toilet. How to Use the Natural Bristle ToothbrushWet the bristles. Add some clay toothpaste. Brush the teeth, gum line, tongue, the inside of the cheeks and the palate. Rinse the mouth Clean the toothbrush and allow it to dry. To get the longest use life from the bristle head, if the brush doesn't get a chance to dry between uses, then it is best to buy one or two extra wooden toothbrushes. How to Make and Use the Clay ToothpasteIn a small pot or jar (not metal or plastic) add one measure of clay. Add just over 1/2 a measure of water. Allow the clay to hydrate. If you are mixing other ingredients, then use a wooden spoon because metal may disturb the charge of the clay and it might not detox so well. Make small quantities at a time, to keep the toothpaste fresh and hygienic. Keep the jar covered between uses to prevent evapouration and the toothpaste clean. Load some clay toothpaste on the toothbrush and brush the teeth in the normal manner. How to use Walnut Bark PowderThe powder can be used dry, mixed in with toothpaste or coconut oil, or made into a mouth wash in this proportion: 15g of powder to 100ml of pre boiled water. How to Use the Toothbrush Stick to Brush the TeethOpen the packet and take the end of the stick over the tooth surface. Rinse the stick after use and place it back in its packet. After a few uses, bristles will form. Now you can use the use the stick in the same way as a toothbrush The sap mixed with saliva acts as a mineralizing toothpaste. How to Use the Toothbrush Stick to Brush the Gum LineOnce the bristles are just the right length, gently bite the stick to release some more sap and use the bristles to clean along the gum line. Trim the bristles once a day or when they get to long with a pair of scissors. Rinse the stick after use and return it to the packet. How to Make and Use Mouth Wash with the Toothbrush StickStand a fresh toothbrush stick in a glass with a few centimetres of water Let it stand for 2 hours. Remove the stick and return it to its packet. Your mouth wash is ready. Take small sips of toothbrush stick mouthwash and swirl all around the mouth and suck the liquid between the teeth. Spit out and repeat until the mouth is super fresh and clean. How to Make Mouth Wash with Green ClayAdd 1 tsp of green clay to 1/4 glass of water. Mix with a wooden spoon. Your mouth wash is ready, but it will detox better if it is left for 4 hours. Re-mix or swirl the clay in the glass to lift it into suspension. Take small sips of green clay mouth wash and swirl all around the mouth and suck the liquid between the teeth. When you spit out, aim for the plug hole to minimize any mess. Repeat until the mouth is super fresh and clean.Tooth and Gum Care Kit SizesSmall/ Trial50g green clay packed in cellophane25g walnut bark powder packed in cellophane1 x boar bristle and wooden toothbrush1 x olive stick & 1 x miswak1 x silk floss dental laceMedium100g green clay packed in cellophane50g walnut bark powder packed in cellophane1 x boar bristle and wooden toothbrush2 x miswak stick & 2 x olive stick1 x silk floss dental lace & 1 silk floss refillLarge150g green clay packed in cellophane100g walnut bark powder packed in cellophane2 x boar bristle and wooden toothbrushes3 x olive sticks & 3 x miswak sticks2 x silk floss dental lace & 2 x silk refillsPackagingAll our packaging is reusable, recyclable or compostable.Who would imagine that so few natural products could do some many important tasks?Learn More from Our Video

FAQsWill I need any other tooth care products? If your dentist or hygienist has recommended using inter-dental brushes, then do use them. We wet the inter-dental brush and then dip it in a tiny portion of clay powder. We think that it gives better cleaning power and keep the inter-dental brush more hygienic. Rinse the mouth after using the interdental brush and wash the brush. We don't sell inter-dental brushes. Get them from your dentist who will be able to advise you on the sizes or different sizes which are best for you. We also use Soladey light activated ionic toothbrushes which can be used without toothpaste. These toothbrushes contain a light sensitive panel instead of a battery and send a charge out of the bristles which electronically releases the plaque from the teeth. We do sell these. You might decide to other ingredients to your homemade clay toothpaste. Such as mouth friendly essential oils - mint, clove, cinnamon; Powders such as fine ground salt, bicarb; or other ingredients which keep tooth brushing effective and exciting! What toxins are in normal floss?Hmmm, you probably would rather not know.  As there is very little ingredient information on a typical floss packaging, you might think that there wasn't much to it. However, all commercial floss is made from either nylon or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE or Teflon) may contain traces of formaldahyde chloroform, limonene, pentene and terpineol from the manufacturing process. Then the nylon filaments are then coated with non stick chemicals such as perfluoroctanoic acid a class of PFCs which cause thyroid problems, cancer, infertility, birth defects, weakened immunity etc. Many other ingredients - fluoride salts, calcium bromide, bleaches, antibiotics, artificial flavours etc. can be added, but large manufacturers do not disclose them on the label as the combinations are patented. Nearly all of the ingredients are derived from petro-chemicals, they are resistant to biodegrading and they bioaccumulate in our bodies, the soil and the food chain. What toxins are in normal toothpaste?Sodium fluoride and the other types of commercial fluoride is derived from the smoke stacks of aliminium processing plants and as a by product of the pesticide industry; SLS (industrial soap) which may harm the gum tissues and cause mouth cancer and mouth ulcers. It is a known carcinogen; Propylene Glycol which coats the teeth, making them feel really smooth and clean, yet which prevents remineralization;  Saccharin a petroleum biproduct;  Aspartame which is used to manufacture formaldahyde;  DEA, bleaching agents which harm the enamel, artificial flavours, colours and many toxic inadequately tested chemicals which can inflame the gums and destroy gut bacteria. All of these chemicals are linked to cancer and other health issues.
