Skullpturas is the face of artwork created by Selina Grazia, combining her scientific background and artistic creativity, through the fusion of natural elements and precious metals.
About Skullpturas
While studying for her degree in Marine Biology, Biodiversity and Conservation she began experimenting with the boundaries between art and nature.
The animal skulls from her studies became an object of inspiration, and eventually led to the creation of Skullpturas.
Over time progressing from animal skulls to invertebrate specimens, her work focuses on the juxtaposition of the insects' fragility in contrast to the substantial nature of precious metals.
All natural elements of Skullpturas pieces are sourced responsibly and sustainably, supporting small independent suppliers.
