Occasionally in the world of beauty something comes along that really is fabulously exciting and this is one of those moments. We are very privileged to be able to stock Lulu’s range of skincare, Timebomb; her range of bodycare, Bombshell and her range of haircare, Operation Glam – exclusively – together with her signature fragrance, Time.
Lulu has been completely hands-on at every stage of the creation of these ranges – they don’t just bear her name. To prove this, she is coming to Jarrolds in the next few months to officially launch and promote her brand. Watch this space for more details. A true celebrity who has remained in the limelight since the 60s, and is as much loved today as she was then, Lulu was recognised in the 2011 Women of the Year awards when she was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Now to the scent - it’s a modern fragrance with pink pepper and fresh lemon but with hints of the past with the addition of patchouli and jasmine. We would put it in the exotic/spicy family and the official line is that it’s “never too heavy, never too sweet or too fruity – sexy but shy”, 50ml £38.50, 150ml body cream £25, exclusive to Jarrolds.
