Ralph Lauren, Notorious - a new launch from this American design house - this sparkling, spiced oriental is bang up-to-date, 30ml eau de parfum £30.00

Lanvin, Jeanne Lanvin -one of the very early French couture houses, Lanvin was renowned for it's floaty tiered evening gowns - the epitome of glamour and sensuality. This new fragrance recaptures that essence with soft, feminine notes and pretty pink packaging, 30ml eau de parfum £29.00.

Diesel, Fuel for Life Unlimited- this new scent is very contemporary, fresh and funky, 30ml eau de parfum £28.00.

Lancome - Magnifique - in my opinion, this is the best fragrance from Lancome since the launch of Tresor, many years ago. A woody, floral, spicy scent with saffron in the top note, Bulgarian rose in the hears and the strangely named nagarmota wood gives the sensual base note which holds the fragrance on the skin, 30ml eau de parfum £29.50.

For him:

Cartier, Roadster - this is my favorite new mens frangrance at the moment. Sophisticated, classy and very sexy, it is great for day or night. The beautiful chiselled glass bottle is reminiscent of the early 20s and stunning in it's own right - a fabulous gift for him, 50ml eau de toilette spray £37.50.
