Meet the Artisan Producers with The Deli and Feast Magazine Norfolk

Wednesday 17 May, 6.30 - 8.30pm

Tickets are £10, to include a glass of wine (soft drinks will also be available) and some light bites. Available from Customer Services, floor 2 or online.

The Jarrold Deli and Feast Magazine Norfolk are big supporters of local produce and producers. And to celebrate, we’re staging an artisan producers evening in the store.

Kicking off in The Deli, lower ground, at 6pm, there is the chance to meet the best artisan producers in Norfolk as well as enjoy talks and demonstrations from some of our foodie experts.

We’re going to interview our Deli manager, Judith Finney, to find out a little bit more about her job and how she decides what she should stock, and Sarah Hardy, Feast Editor will be on hand to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly bits of running the region’s only food and drink magazine!

Bullards Gin will be introducing their latest Strawberry and Pepper gin and Denis Rosembert from Chez Denis will be cooking from and introducing his new cookery book Taste of the French Carribbean.

Also in The Deli for you to meet this evening will be

Peachey Jams & Chutneys

Wild Knight Vodka

Amber demonstrating the Vitamix Pro 300 Blender

Lacons Brewery

Yare Valley Oils

Chillies Galore

Plus: Buy One Get One Free on all Cookbooks* and 10% off Deli purchases on the evening

All the producers will be offering samples and you’ll get to hear their back stories first hand. They are a fascinating bunch!

Andy Newman, Steve Hearnden, Ellen Mary and Charlotte and Oliver Gurney from the Feast Norfolk team will be on hand through the evening talking about their specialism, and there’s obviously the chance to snap up some delicious food and drink treats and all the other great goodies on sale in the store’s basement - there’s literally everything from cook books, colourful aprons to the latest high tech kitchen gadget.

It’s really all an excuse for us foodies to get together, swap stories, recommend new eateries, talk recipes and support those who are at the sharp end of creating new and exciting produce - whether it is cheese, chutney or beer!

It should be a fun evening and we’d love you to join us.
