In any list of celebrated Norfolk humourists you won’t get far beyond the Singing Postman before Keith Skipper’s name comes up. Entertainer, author, journalist, broadcaster and raconteur, Keith is one of the region’s best-known personalities, a keen observer of Norfolk foibles and celebrant of its quirky individuality. We’re delighted to be hosting a Norwich launch this autumn for Keith’s latest book, All Preachers Great and Small. As you might possibly guess from the title, the book is crammed with yarns about Norfolk churches, chapels, vicars, vergers and the like – but most of all with Norfolk humour. The tome can’t be too anti-religious, though, because the Rt Revd Graham James, Lord Bishop of Norwich has written the foreword and will even be joining Keith as a special guest at our launch evening. We’re delighted to welcome Keith to the store and we – and he – will be delighted to see you there too. So (as I suspect Keith might say) come yew on tergether, for sarvice with a smile an’ a right good dew in the Jarrold pews!
