An Evening with Henry Blofeld
Thursday 9 November, 6.30pm
The Pantry Restaurant, floor 3
Tickets £7, available from Customer Services, floor 2 or online.
We’re delighted to welcome legendary cricket commentator Henry Blofeld to the store, in conversation with BBC Radio Norfolk’s Matthew Gudgin, for the launch of his autobiography. Henry has just announced his retirement from full time commentating on BBC’s Test Match Special, but his book reveals the secrets of life in the commentary box and of the rich cast of characters with whom he shared it, from John Arlott and Brian Johnson to Aggers and new boys Boycott, Swann, Vaughan and Tuffers. Come and relive some magic moments: not forgetting pigeons passing, red buses and much loved cricket grounds, Henry writes of his favourite countries, and experiences while travelling, and meeting and interviewing many cricket-loving celebrities.
