Orla Kiely has really captured the spirit of summer with this delightful rope-detail handbag in achingly stylish navy and tan. Like many of the loveliest styles on offer for this season, it is what we might call 'nautical lite', with just the rope motif as a clue to its influences. We love the use of chunky cord instead of clasps, giving the bag a look of real laid-back chic.
It's also rather different from Kiely's usual, better-known styles, with no repeat patterning to speak of but a subtle punctuated version of her flower stem logo. The result is a very versatile bag with plenty of charm and character.
