This is Queen guitarist, astrophysicist and wildlife campaigner Brian May's seventh book. His publishing company, the London Stereoscopic Society (LSC) has pioneered the return of 3D photography to popularity and this slip-cased edition includes an Owl Stereoscope so images throughout the book can be appreciated in 3D. Crinoline is about a fashion which died a natural death more than 100 years ago, and was itself responsible for the deaths of thousands due to fire. This edition also features unique contributions by Vivienne Westwood and Zandra Rhodes and stereo images from the V&A exhibition Undressed, A Brief History of Underwear.
