Chateau Lestrille Bordeaux Rose 12.5% 75cl
A crisp, elegant and refreshing rosé, with delicious aromas of red cherry and wild strawberry echoed on the beautifully textured palate through to a vibrant finish.
The grapes were picked at the optimum harvesting date, to ensure they had reached the perfect level of ripeness and concentration. The timing of the picking is the most crucial step in the winemaking process. The delicate pale colour is obtained though gentle, direct pressing. A long, slow fermentation took place with selected yeasts at cool temperatures, this technique helps to preserve the purity of fruit and fine aromatics. The wine was aged in cement vats on its lees for three months to impart delicate texture.
